The private-party package
75 headphones covers a typical milestone birthday, anniversary party, or rooftop event comfortably. Intimate gatherings scale down to 25-50. Larger residential events and milestone celebrations step up to 100-150. Most clients land here because it covers 60-80 guests with comfortable spares.

Private parties run differently from corporate or wedding events — they are usually shorter, more intimate, and the host wants to actually enjoy them rather than manage them. Here is how it works from the host\'s point of view.
Delivery (typically morning of)
Flight case rolls in on wheels. PAT-tested, fully charged. For apartment buildings we coordinate with the concierge or porter for the delivery window. For rooftops we deliver to the building reception and you take the case up — or we can deliver to the venue level if access allows.
Setup (15 minutes, while you finish cooking)
Plug the transmitter into a mains socket on the terrace, plug your phone or laptop in with three Spotify playlists running, test a couple of headphones. Done. No technical knowledge required — the one-page setup card walks you through it. Most hosts have it running while they finish the catering.
Guests arrive — headphones at the door
Guests pick up a headphone at the door (or wherever you've set the handout point) along with their welcome drink. They put it on, scroll to a channel, and the party starts. No formal ticketing — guests pick up and put down freely throughout the night.
Late-night runs free
Building noise restrictions kick in around 11pm-midnight in most residential settings. Your silent party doesn't trigger them — no amplified sound means no complaint vector. Party carries on until guests are done, not when the building manager calls. Most rooftop hosts find guests stay 2-3 hours longer than they would at a traditional party.
Pack-down & collection
Headphones back into the flight case as guests leave. Case ready for collection by our courier the next working day. We collect from the same building entrance as delivery — no need for you to take it anywhere. Most hosts have the case back to the door before bed.

Will neighbours genuinely not complain, or just complain less?
Genuinely not complain. Silent disco produces zero amplified sound — the same volume your living room would be at on a Tuesday evening with people chatting. We have supplied countless inner-London rooftop birthdays, dense-residential garden parties, and apartment-block events that ran past 2am. The local noise officer has nothing to log because there is nothing audible to log.
My building has a rooftop manager / concierge. Will they approve this?
Almost always yes — and usually with relief, because they're used to dealing with conventional rooftop parties that trigger complaints. We supply the PAT-test certs, insurance documentation, and a one-page brief specifically for the building manager. Most managers prefer silent disco events because they remove the building's noise-complaint exposure entirely.
How discreet does the kit actually look?
The transmitter is roughly the size of a wireless router and sits on a side table or AV trolley. The headphones have a soft LED glow in three colours but no flashy strobes or laser elements. The overall aesthetic at a rooftop or terrace event reads premium and considered — closer to a high-end audio setup than a festival booth.
How late can we run? Is there any hidden curfew?
There is no curfew on a silent disco from our side — the kit will run as long as your venue or your guests will. Building rules might still apply for things like communal-area access or fire-exit usage after midnight, but those are venue-specific and don't relate to noise. Most rooftop and private parties run until 1-3am routinely.
Outdoor terrace event — what about weather?
Headphones are IPX4-rated which handles light drizzle and damp evenings comfortably. The transmitter we'd ask you to keep under cover or inside through any heavy weather. Most British summer rooftop events get caught by a passing shower at some point — the kit handles it. Persistent heavy rain we'd ask you to bring everything inside.
My venue is mixed-use (shops or businesses below). Will it disturb them?
No — for the same reason it doesn't disturb residential neighbours. There is no amplified sound being produced, so nothing leaks into the floors below. We have supplied many mixed-use building events — rooftop bars above retail, garden parties next to offices, terrace events above restaurants — without any complaints from the business below.
What about insurance for an event at my home or rented venue?
Our £10m public liability insurance covers the kit and its operation. If your venue requires evidence of cover from suppliers we provide that paperwork upfront. For events at private homes the homeowner's contents/buildings insurance covers the property as usual — we don't need any special policy from your end. Documentation supplied with every booking.
Outdoor private party — do you supply weatherproof options for the transmitter?
For outdoor terraces and gardens we ship the transmitter with a weather-resistant cover and bring an extension lead long enough to keep the unit under shelter while broadcasting to the open-air crowd. Range to 300m line-of-sight means the transmitter can sit safely indoors with the party happening on the terrace 30 metres away.
