Delivery (morning of, or day before)
Flight case rolls in on wheels. Fully charged, PAT-tested, ready to go. Most kids parties get delivery the morning of the event — we work to your timing.
Setup (15 minutes, anyone can do it)
Plug the transmitters into a mains socket, connect a phone or laptop running Spotify, test one set of headphones. Done. The one-page setup card walks you through it — no technical skill required.
Party time (2-3 hours typically)
Kids put headphones on, find their channel, dance. They cycle between channels freely — you'll see the LED ring colour change as they switch. Volume is per-headphone, so quieter kids stay quiet.
Wind-down (the bit parents love)
Switch the room to channel 03 (chill) for the last 20 minutes. Kids naturally calm down, energy drops, parents picking up don't walk into a sugar-fuelled meltdown. Surprisingly effective.

Is the volume actually safe for young kids?
Yes. Maximum volume is capped at a level well below the threshold for hearing damage over extended exposure — significantly safer than a standard pair of consumer headphones, and safer than a typical wedding/disco PA system. Each headphone adjusts independently, so kids who want it quieter stay quieter. We pass certification documents to schools and nurseries on request.
What age range does this work for?
Roughly age 5 upwards. The headphones adjust for any head size from small primary-age children to teenagers. Younger toddlers tend to take them off because they don't yet associate cause-and-effect with the music, but from school-age up they're a hit. We've supplied SEN classrooms with younger users where the routine was built around the sessions.
What about kids with hearing aids?
Designed for it. Hearing-aid wearers keep their aids in and put the headphones over the top — the speaker sits next to the aid microphone, which works in exactly the way the aid is meant to work. Volume per-headphone means hearing-aid kids can dial it to whatever level suits their setup without affecting anyone else.
Are the headphones hygienic between events?
Every headphone is wiped down with anti-bacterial cleaner between bookings, and the ear pads are sanitised individually. We've done plenty of nursery and SEN events where parents specifically asked for the cleaning protocol — we send the documentation to schools and venues that need it.
What if a child loses or breaks a headphone?
Insurance covers normal use, drops, and damage during a kids party — we don't invoice for the broken ones at the end. Every booking ships with 5-10% spare units built into the count, so if a few go down mid-party they swap straight away with no cost or hassle.
Can we use it outdoors? Garden party, bouncy castle, sports day?
Yes — the transmitters need mains power but the headphones are wireless with 10-hour batteries, range up to 300m line-of-sight. We've supplied countless garden birthdays, bouncy castle parties, school sports days, and outdoor family events. Light drizzle isn't an issue. Heavy rain we'd ask you to bring the unit under cover.
How long can young kids actually wear them?
Comfortably for 2-3 hours, which is about the length of most kids parties anyway. The ear pads are soft and well-padded, the band adjusts, and the LED ring sits well outside the line of sight so it doesn't bother the wearer. We get fewer complaints about comfort than we do about typical school PE-kit headbands.
Do you provide the music, or do we bring our own?
Either works. Most parents just plug their phone in with a Spotify playlist running — that's by far the most common option. We also offer a fully-loaded tablet add-on (£30+) with kids-party playlists pre-loaded if you'd rather skip the music-curation step. The kids don't care which way you do it.
